L’OUSTALOUN***, “the little house” in Provençal, was in the past in turn an abbey in the 16th century, then a town hall from 1792 to 1817 (town hall and prison), a carpenter’s workshop and finally the first hotel and restaurant in the heart of the village of Maussane-les-Alpilles.
