Encierro

The term ‘encierro’ refers either to the confining of bulls in the corrals – a group of bulls intended for the bullfight – or to the bulls’ journey from the corrals to the bullring. It involves releasing the bulls onto a fenced-off route within the village. Reckless young people then run behind the bull.
