- Le Grenier à Olives – Permanent Exhibition at the Moulin Cornille
The former attics of the Moulin Cornille have been restored to house a permanent exhibition. This visit offers you the chance to discover the history, origins and expertise behind olive growing.
Self-guided tours or guided tours by appointment.
In this symbolic setting steeped in history, this exhibition – suitable for all ages – offers a chance to discover olive growing and the ancestral expertise passed down from generation to generation.
A journey through time, with a tour punctuated by an original exhibition design that emphasises the sensory experience.
This exhibition offers a multifaceted approach: geographical, environmental, heritage-based, historical and technical.
The themes covered are:
-The region and terroir of the Vallée des Baux de Provence,
-The harvest
-Production techniques and the processing of “maturée” olive oil
-The architecture of a ‘moulin à chapelles’ (mill with chapels)
-Waste recycling
-The cooperative
-Cooking with olive oil
