- Mas de Chabran
The origins of Mas de Chabran lie in a mill belonging to Pierre Chabran, who decided in 1693 to have the first plans drawn up for the building that was to bear the name Mas de Pradon for many years.
Built of dressed stone, it included a main building, outbuildings and an oil mill with two horse-drawn millstands. Completed in 1738, the building was designed from the outset with large arches to bring light into the mill.
When Liliana and Alain Meylan visited Mas de Chabran a few years ago, they were immediately charmed.
Together with their agency K architecture & design, they imagined a place to live that was far removed from traditional Provençal clichés.
