The evenings on the forecourt

The council’s aim is to introduce multi-talented artists to an audience who might not otherwise set foot in a theatre or concert hall, free of charge.

The church façade provides quite exceptional acoustics; there is a direct connection with the audience—who are sometimes first-time attendees—as they make the venue their own by arranging the chairs wherever they like, whilst the artists take on a real challenge every evening in the open air.

The “Soirées du Parvis” feature a series of original performances, ranging from bursts of laughter to moments of deep emotion.

On Thursday evenings in July, free performances (music, theatre, circus, street art, etc.) take place on the church forecourt.
