- Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Pierredon
The history of this family estate dates back to the 13th century, during the time of the Chalaisian monks. Surrounded by forest and garrigue, the 15 hectares of vines nestling in the heart of a 600-hectare valley grow on clay-limestone soils and produce captivating, unique organic wines.
Domaine de Pierredon invites you to discover their olive oil and wine range.
The Provençal varieties of olives used produce oil from the Vallée des Baux de Provence, one of the seven Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée for olive oil in France.
As for the vines, all the traditional grape varieties of Provence are present: rolle, grenache, cinsault, syrah, as well as cabernet-sauvignon, merlot and sauvignon.
In the heart of the Alpilles mountains, a meeting place for lovers of nature and Provençal spirituality, the Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Pierredon strives to produce wines imbued with the spirit of these magical places.
